OUR GENESIS
Nammu, goddess of creation and mother of sentience, has essentially restarted life on Genesis, believing her previous children to be too cruel and wicked. All that remains of the humans that used to live on Genesis and the holy war that destroyed them are ruins and craters. Nammu repopulated the land with nonhumans, gifting them the same abilities of thought and speech as the humans. Some of the animals living on Genesis are content to live without knowing what made the strange mountains of rock and steel that dot the landscape, but others are a bit more curious, sometimes spending their entire lives in search of answers.
